# FLYER REBUILD PUNCH LIST — pending Rob's go
**Created:** 2026-08-08 · **Status:** COLLECTING EDITS — do not rebuild until Rob says go
**Applies to:** 6 Brighton flyers (`flyers/flyer-0{2..7}-*.md` → PDFs → FINAL zip → Drive re-upload). Almighty (flyer-01) inherits relevant items when regenerated for Thornton.

---

## 1. CRM line swap (all 6 flyers)
- **Body copy** (in "What You Get After Each Call"): kill "Plus a contact record automatically created in your CRM with the caller's info — so you're walking into every callback with full context before you even dial."
→ Replace: "Plus every caller saved to your own private call log — name, number, everything they said, searchable anytime. No lost sticky notes, no 'what was that callback number again.'"
- **Pricing table:** "contact capture in your CRM" → "every caller saved to your private call log"
- **Why:** these shops don't have CRMs; "your CRM" invites the wrong question and smells like automation (poison at Mary Ellen's).

## 2. "The Math" section → tightened two-liner (all 6 flyers)
- Kill the whole 10-calls-a-week example, the 2–3% conversion lecture, the "translation:" paragraphs.
- **DECIDED 2026-08-08 — bare version:** "You know this number better than I do: 15% of the bond, every bond. The only question is whether the phone gets answered. Whoever picks up first writes it."
- Keep the section header "The Math" (or retitle on rebuild).

## 3. Alternatives paragraph → KILLED (all 6 flyers)
- Delete: live answering service $200–500 bullet, Google-ads-ban/Bing $12–66 bullet, "this line never sleeps" bullet. Not relocated — gone. Verbal ammo only if asked in the room.

## 4. Rename pass (all 6 flyers + one-pager)
- "founding client/offer/terms" → **First-In** (the offer)
- "founding price lock" → **Charter rate** ($397/mo locked for life)
- "founding slots / scoreboard" → **Brighton's First Three** (the shops + scoreboard identity)
- Section header → "The First-In Offer — Brighton, First 3 Only"
- Keystone sentence: "The First-In offer: three Charter rates in Brighton. When the First Three are signed, the $397 rate is gone from this market permanently."

## 5. Guarantee rebuild (all 6 flyers)
- Name: "30-Day 'Catch Every Call' Guarantee" → **"Answered-or-Free Guarantee"**
- Per-bucket thresholds (answered calls in first 30 days, else month two free):
  - 303 (Katie), M&M → **10**
  - Rapid Release, Lucky Lucero's, Mary Ellen's → **20**
  - ADAN → **40**
  - Almighty (when built) → 10
- Terms line: "If the line doesn't handle at least **[bucket]** real caller intakes in your first 30 days — an actual person, calling about a bond, who gives a name and callback number — month two is free. Wrong numbers, telemarketers, and hang-ups don't count. Real numbers or you don't pay."
- Room fallback if a bondsman quotes lower volume: "half your month, answered — or month two is free."
- **Patch `bail-bonds-vertical-playbook` skill:** kill the old 50-call guarantee language (watch item + guarantee section).

## 6. ⚠️ BUILD ITEM — junk-call filter (DO NOT FORGET — Rob's flag)
- **Verify/fix in the demo agent workflow before rebuild:** post-call handoff text fires ONLY when intake was actually captured (caller name + callback number present in transcript). No handoff text on telemarketers, hang-ups, prank calls.
- Purpose: (a) bondsman never gets a 3 a.m. notification for a robocall — sellable feature: "it filters the noise, you only hear about real families"; (b) keeps the Answered-or-Free count honest.
- Check current workflow logic in RRR sub-account; add the name+callback-present condition if missing. Also confirm no-count treatment in Capture Report ("answered, no intake" line).
- Load `ghl-voice-agent-build` for the workflow pitfalls before touching it.

---

## 8. BUILD/RUNBOOK NOTE — number attachment architecture (ghl-voice-agent-build)
How the bondsman's number reaches the agent. Default = carrier-level conditional call forwarding (busy/no-answer after 3–4 rings → forwards to the GHL agent number). He keeps his number, his carrier, everything. Works on cells (carrier *61/*67/*71 star codes) and VoIP (provider portal).
- Do NOT pitch porting his number into GHL — the number IS the business (jailhouse walls, court forms); too risky.
- One agent can serve BOTH an office line and a work cell (both forward to the same agent number). No double build.
- One-device operators (business = personal cell — Katie/Melissa pattern): conditional forwarding is contact-blind, so personal missed calls get the polite AI answer too. Surface this in the setup conversation, don't let him discover it when the AI intakes his mother.
- Setup is done WITH him in the room at signing + a live test call before leaving the shop. Per-carrier forwarding instructions go in the runbook.
- Flyer copy "on YOUR existing business number" stays true via forwarding — no flyer change.

## 9. Second-line upsell — VERBAL ONLY, never printed
Dedicated second business number on the same agent/sub-account (~$1–2/mo carrier cost, near-pure margin). Back-pocket price: $97/mo add-on, flexes by shop.
- NOT on the flyer — a second line item dilutes the First-In single-decision frame and reframes us from capture-layer to phone company.
- Trigger 1 (in the room): the cell-bleed problem surfaces during "what number do clients call?" → "we can stand you up a dedicated business line on the same system later — once the first line's earning."
- Trigger 2 (systematic): the 25-call script-tuning session doubles as the expansion review — second line, after-hours-only routing, Thornton expansion.

---

## 10. "Voicemail" sweep (all 6 flyers)
"Gone to voicemail" assumes his missed calls hit a voicemail box AND that panicked callers leave messages — both wrong. Caller behavior is documented in their own reviews ("called five bondsmen before..."): they hang up mid-ring and dial the next name. No message, no trace, invisible bleed.
- Swap "would've gone to voicemail" → "would've gone to the next guy on the list" (ROI math line)
- Swap "the call goes to voicemail" → "rings out / goes to the next shop" (Problem section + anywhere load-bearing)
- Keep "voicemail" only where it's the *absence* being described (e.g. "no caller ever hits a voicemail wall" on Katie's flyer — that one's fine, it's a wall-image not a behavior claim)

## 11. NOTE ONLY — live-operator economics objection handler (playbook room beat, no flyer change)
Rob asked: can these shops afford a live answering service? Answer: 1 of 7 maybe (ADAN, $800–2,500/mo w/ overages at their volume), 1 never would (Mary Ellen's — script-reading stranger kills the 4.9), 5 are priced/philosophically out ($200–500/mo base + $1.50–2.50/min overages vs 5–15 min bail intakes — a 100-min plan dies in week one at mid-bucket volume). Room beat: "there are three ways to cover a phone — you, a service, or this. You already know why the first two leak." Do NOT print cost-comparison math on flyers (that's the killed item #3, stays killed).

## 12. "Stop the shop-around" — caller-psychology frame (flyer copy + room beat)
The actual product isn't call answering — it's interrupting the hang-up-and-dial-next habit. Caller at 2 a.m. isn't shopping for the best bondsman; they take the first human voice that owns the problem. The 15-minute callback promise doesn't just serve the caller — it CAPTURES them: a caller holding that promise stops dialing competitors.
- Problem section, add: "At 2 a.m. nobody leaves a voicemail. The family hangs up mid-ring and dials the next name on Google — their own reviews admit it: 'I called five bondsmen before...' The shop that answers with a real voice and a real promise — 'an agent calls you back in 15 minutes' — is where the shopping stops. Not because the bond's written. Because somebody finally took it."
- "What It Does" callback bullet, add payoff: "**A caller holding that promise stops dialing your competitors.**"
- Playbook room beat (Rob loved this one): "You're not buying an answering service — you're buying the fifteen minutes where the family puts the phone down." Physical delivery: set your phone face-down on his desk on the beat.

## 7. DECIDED — no IVR press-1 gate on bail lines (do not relitigate at rebuild)
Rob has a press-1 gate working on his own booking bot (robocallers can't DTMF → instant hangup, saves pennies). Considered and REJECTED for the bail vertical 2026-08-08:
- GHL Voice AI has no native pre-agent gate; the chain (number → IVR workflow step → forward to agent number) adds a hop = latency + failure point on every pickup.
- Friction tax is wrong for bail: booking-bot callers are calm; bail callers are panicked at 2 a.m. "Press 1" announces "you've reached a phone system" before the warm voice — undercuts the Mary Ellen's "caller never knows the difference" pitch and gives callers a bail-out moment to dial the next shop.
- Pennies math: robocallers hang up <30s, cost is noise. The REAL junk-call cost is notification spam — already solved by item #6 (no name+callback → no handoff text, no guarantee credit).
- Escalation path if a live client later complains about junk VOLUME: the IVR-gate chain is a known build — deploy per-client, not default.
- Room ammo: if asked "what about telemarketers," Rob answers from his own line's field experience, not theory.

## 13. ⚠️ OFFER RE-ARCHITECTURE — "Brighton's First Three" is DEAD; long live "The Brighton Solo"
Decided 2026-08-08. The 3-slot Charter model is replaced by a **one-line-per-town monopoly offer**:
- **The pitch:** "The first one who signs gets it. I leave, start your setup, and tomorrow I take the offer to Thornton, Commerce City, etc. You've got a protected town for as long as you keep the service. If some other bond company gets something like this, they didn't get it from me."
- **Price: LOCKED at $497/mo lifetime lock** (decided 2026-08-08). Solo is not built around Katie — it's built for who sees the value, can afford it, and needs it most.
- **Brighton's Solo target: ADAN.** Needs it most (559 reviews, "Open 24 hours" listing, plays a CLOSED recording at 5 a.m. — witnessed by Rob 2026-08-08), can afford it (highest volume in the market, 75–370 calls/mo est.), and the value is provable on HER phone, not our claims. Walk order: ADAN goes FIRST (was #6 in the old dossier ranking).
- **ADAN room nuance:** deliver the closed-recording intel as confusion, not gotcha — "maybe it was a glitch — but your callers don't know that" — keeps her moving toward the fix instead of defending the lie. New angle (replaces overflow/simultaneity as the LEAD; overflow stays as support): "You're not losing the second simultaneous call. You're losing EVERY call after the office locks up."
- **Katie:** not offered the Solo. Great story, maybe-later at most — no discount track, no churn risk parked in the only Brighton slot. Her bucket-5 guarantee branch is deleted (moot).
- **Scoreboard inverts:** each town gets ONE box. Thornton walk-ins see "Brighton: ☑ CLAIMED. Thornton: ☐."
- Rename pass item #4 now reads: all "founding" language → **"The Brighton Solo"** (one protected town, one line, yours alone). Kill all First Three/scoreboard-of-3 language. First-In/Charter naming may survive as terms under Solo — decide at rebuild.
- Guarantee item #5 thresholds carry over unchanged (10/20/40 by bucket).

## 14. Walk-in beat sheet v2 — field-report opener (playbook rewrite)
Rob's 5 a.m. test calls changed the opener. Full v2 beat sheet written into `bail-bonds-vertical-playbook` (walk-in runbook section):
- New opener: the personally-witnessed 5 a.m. field report ("I called every shop on this street at 5 a.m. Biggest shop in town — 559 reviews, 'Open 24 hours' — played me 'we are closed, leave a message.' The shop across the street put me on hold 3 minutes with ukulele music...")
- Same-day test discipline: test THAT shop the morning of THAT walk-in (dossier usage rules)
- The rest of v1 beats carry: discovery question → demo agreement → speakerphone demo → handoff-text reveal → "fifteen minutes where the family puts the phone down" (phone face-down on desk) → Solo close → YES (setup info in the room) / NO-think-about-it (leave flyer, demo number is the sleeper, evening text follow-up)

## 15. Flyer design elements — CLOSED 2026-08-08
1. **Solo section on ALL SIX flyers, identical:** "One Town. One Shop." — $497/mo Charter lock, one-box scoreboard (Brighton: ☐ UNCLAIMED), first month free, setup free, Answered-or-Free (bucket number per shop), graceful exit "No pressure — but the town won't wait." Rationale: Solo is offered VERBALLY to ADAN only, but printed identically everywhere — consistency when shops compare notes (they will), and if ADAN passes, the next shop can be offered Solo with no reprint. The flyer sells the SYSTEM; the room makes the offer.
2. **15-minute callback promise stays printed as-is.** In the room Rob frames it: "that's the demo setting — you tell me what you think it should be." (Buyer sets his own SLA = ownership; the number is a script variable per client.)
3. **Names on the page:** first-name personalized openings stay ("Katie —", "Chris —"). ADAN's flyer opens to **Steve** ("Steve —" or "Steve, Angie, and the team at All Day All Night —"). Full name table now in the dossier (WALK-IN NAME TABLE) — Steve Mares (owner), Angie Villereal (ops mgr), Cynthia Moya (office mgr), + Amy/Denise/Erica at ADAN; Nicky added at 303. Lucky Lucero's + M&M owner names still unknown — fill live.
4. **Section order (all six):** Prepared for [Shop] → The Problem (field-report framing) → The Solution/What It Does → What You Get After Each Call (private call log) → The Math (bare two-liner) → What It Will NEVER Do → One Town. One Shop. (Solo) → Sample Call transcript (back) → About + demo footer.

## 18. Color system + single-page layout + signature block — CLOSED 2026-08-08
Rob's verdict on Claude's near-monochrome: "boring." New palette — "bail office at night" (native to the vertical, navy+amber = every strip-mall BAIL BONDS sign in America):
- Base ink #111111; primary accent deep navy #1B2A4A (offer border, scoreboard box, kicker text); energy accent **amber #E8893A** (header phone number BIG, Math band = full amber fill w/ black bold serif, "UNCLAIMED" status, thin amber kicker underlines); optional warm paper tint #FAF7F2.
- Math band = the mid-page pop: solid amber fill, black text (survives dying inkjet cartridges; dark-on-amber > white-on-navy for print).
- **Killed transcript frees the back page → true single-pager, 11pt body, real whitespace.** Bigger signature moments: scoreboard box 0.75in+, header phone number big.
- **Field-report sidebar: IN** (pending Rob's final confirm on placement — proposed: right column beside The Problem; ADAN's = the 5 a.m. "closed" recording, witnessed evidence beats adjectives). How-it-works strip: OUT (room conversation, pre-answering unasked questions reads as over-explaining).
- **NEW: signature line inside the offer block** — one line + date, caption "Claims the town of {{TOWN}} for as long as the service runs." Exit line stays LAST under it ("No pressure — the line will be here. But the town won't." reads harder under an unsigned line). Not a contract — the claim stub; real agreement follows at setup.
- **Room execution: print 2 copies per shop — he signs BOTH, box gets checked on BOTH.** His leave-behind shows ☑ CLAIMED (every glance re-sells the decision); Rob's copy = the dated territory record. Print run: 2×6 + blanks; ADAN copies first (only Solo offer; others sign only if ADAN passes and Solo re-offers).
- Page composition (final, top→bottom): THE PREMIUM LINE header (amber number) → A Real Results Ready LLC system → Prepared for [Shop] + hook → The Problem + FIELD REPORT sidebar → What It Does → What You Get (private call log) → MATH BAND (amber) → What It Will NEVER Do → ONE TOWN. ONE SHOP. (scoreboard, stack, guarantee, signature+date, exit line) → footer contact only.

## 17. Template + product naming — CLOSED 2026-08-08
- **Claude (Cowork) delivered the HTML/CSS print template** (bail-flyer-template.html + filled ADAN sample) — visual shell is GOOD and stays: kicker sections, rules, math block, offer block with the big pen-friendly scoreboard box, system fonts, print-safe, inkjet-safe near-monochrome (navy #1b2a4a accent). Copy inside it was Claude's invention and gets fully replaced with our locked content (it violated: no-voicemail claims, AI never asks bond amount/collateral, bare two-liner math, AI answers in the SHOP's name not "Real Results Ready Bail Bonds", 15-min promise, field-report Problem framing, ADAN's 5 a.m. closed-recording hook).
- **DECIDED — Sample Call transcript section KILLED.** The live demo is the weapon; a transcript is a photocopy of the gun. Flyer is now single-page, single-sided. Demo invitation absorbs the transcript's job (see header).
- **DECIDED — product name: "The Premium Line."** ("Missed Call Only Agent" was internal SKU-speak — dies everywhere.) Double meaning: their 15% fee IS "the premium" + quality-line read. Cross-vertical scalable (for Bail Bonds / for HVAC later) — Rob's deciding factor over "The Bond Desk" (which stays in the vault as the bail-native runner-up).
- **DECIDED — new flyer header (replaces the old title block):**
Line 1 (masthead): **THE PREMIUM LINE**
Line 2 (action): **CALL IT RIGHT NOW: 1-877-526-3948 — 2 a.m. works too.**
Line 3 (small byline): **A Real Results Ready LLC system** — NOTHING MORE. No "built for {{OWNER}} at {{SHOP}}" here (that duplicated the "Prepared specifically for [Shop]" kicker + first-name hook directly below; killed 2026-08-08). Personalization lives ONLY in the section below the header.
- Footer keeps: contact line + demo number (now redundant with header — trim footer demo line at pour, keep contact).
- Back page is gone → transcript section removed entirely; single .page div.

## 16. PARKED — Capture Report template (design after flyers)
Direction agreed: one-page plain-email monthly, HIS close rate not industry stats, junk-filtered count as a feature line, per-call ledger with transcript links, never skip a month. OPEN: plain email vs PDF; week-one "first catches" text yes/no; guarantee shown as running total ("14 of 20") vs final month-end number. Resume after flyer rebuild.

---

## Rebuild procedure (when Rob says go)
1. Apply edits to 6 flyer .md sources
2. Regenerate PDFs (same render path as 2026-08-07 build)
3. Re-zip as bail-flyers-brighton-FINAL.zip
4. Re-upload to Drive (composio-mcp-ops runbook: nginx /stage/ + GOOGLEDRIVE_UPLOAD_FROM_URL), verify bytes
5. Update SESSION-HANDOFF with the changes
6. Patch `bail-bonds-vertical-playbook` (guarantee language) — vocabulary doc + pitfall #6 already patched 2026-08-08
