# Bail Vertical — 2026-08-08 Session Updates (supersedes stale playbook sections)

The `bail-bonds-vertical-playbook` skill was patch-blocked (manually-authored guard) at update time, so the day's corrections live here. Where this file and the playbook disagree, THIS FILE WINS. Primary working docs remain: `/root/.hermes/work/ghl/FLYER-REBUILD-PUNCHLIST.md` (18 closed items), `bail-bonds-prospect-dossier.md` (field intel + name table), `bondsman-vocabulary.md` (mechanics of posting section).

## Offer model: SOLO replaced the 3-shop Charter (locked 2026-08-08); offer NAME locked 2026-08-09 = "One Town. One Agency."

**NAME LOCK (2026-08-09):** the canonical offer name is **"One Town. One Agency."** — it replaces "Solo" / "The Brighton Solo" everywhere (flyers, landing page, site, pitch). Below, "Solo" is retained only as historical shorthand for the same one-agency-per-town model; on any NEW collateral use "One Town. One Agency." This also fixes the offer-block headline: printed flyers carried "One Town. One Shop." — "shop" is a banned word (see vocabulary), so the headline becomes "One Town. One Agency." at the next rebuild.

- **One Town. One Agency.** One Premium Line per town, ever. $497/mo Charter rate, locked for life.
- The "founding/First Three/3-slot scoreboard" model is DEAD. Scoreboard = single box: "Brighton: ☐ UNCLAIMED."
- Brighton's Solo target: **ADAN** (walked first) — needs it most (witnessed 5 a.m. "we are closed" recording vs. "Open 24 Hours" listing), can afford it (highest volume). Katie (303) is NOT offered Solo — great story, wrong buyer; no discount track.
- Stack: first month free / setup free ($1,500) / script tuning after 25 intakes free ($500) / end-of-month Capture Report review free ($500) / Answered-or-Free guarantee.
- Guarantee buckets (RESTORED after Rob's review — the flat-30 pour was wrong; UPDATED post-sweep): **30** (ADAN/high-volume), **20** (Rapid/Lucky/Mary Ellen's/**303 Katie** — bumped from 10 when her Greenwood Village 423-review listing surfaced mid-volume), **10** (M&M solo-small). Phrase: "if the Premium Line doesn't handle at least [N] real intakes in your first 30 days, month two is free." Junk-call disclaimer NOT printed (verbal only). Lesson: when Rob edits one number on ONE flyer's guarantee line, confirm whether it's global or per-shop before pouring the rest — bucket logic was already locked earlier in the session and the flat pour silently broke it.
- Flyer = claim stub: signature+date rows for BOTH parties (client agency + Real Results Ready). Print 2 copies; both signed, both boxes checked. Leave-behind shows ☑ CLAIMED. No exit-line pressure copy on the page.
- Product name: **The Premium Line** (cross-vertical by design). "Missed Call Only Agent" = internal only, never printed.

## Vocabulary corrections (Rob, 2026-08-08)

- **"Shop" is dead** — bondsmen call it an office, agency, or bonding company. Use "agency" on all collateral.
- **"Next name in the book" → "next listing in Google."** "Dial the next name" → "the next agency."
- **"Adams County calls first" → "Brightonians call first"** (ADAN flyer — hyperlocal beats county).
- Verified-hook discipline: "you can't ANSWER your phone at the bond window" retired (unverifiable); "you can't WORK a new client from the bond window / while consoling scared relatives" is the verified frame.
- "Voicemail" claims retired — callers hang up mid-ring and dial the next listing (documented in the targets' own reviews: "I called five bondsmen before...").

## ADAN intel (verified across 4 sources)

- Owner: **Steve Mares Jr.** (licensed since 1996, ex-President of the Professional Bail Agents of Colorado). Staff: Amy Mares (HR), **Angie Villereal** (ops manager — the warm path if Steve's out), **Cynthia Moya** (office mgr), Denise Long, Erica Moya. Walk-in: "Are you Angie or Cynthia? Is Steve around?"
- BUT the customer-facing staff is the women (reviews name Jen, Angie, Vanessa, Selena) — so the flyer salutation is the TEAM: "Steve, Angie, Cynthia, and the team at All Day All Night —" not "Steve —" alone (Rob's correction after seeing the gender split on their listings).
- ADAN brand: blue #2A94D4 dominant; ABeeZee/Roboto Slab fonts; logo = "ALL DAY ALL NIGHT / BAIL BONDS" with flanking rules (dark variant from favicon.png; crop alpha padding before sizing).
- Field report (Rob's witnessed 5 a.m. calls 8/8/2026): ADAN = "we are closed, leave a message" recording. 303/Katie = 3-min ukulele hold, human "Nicky" answered. Test each agency the morning of THAT walk-in, never batch-test.

## The "sets the phone down" payoff (Rob's line — the pitch's emotional core)

FINAL FORM (v14): the payoff box is a blue-bordered box (the orange FILL was killed — Rob wanted it to echo the offer block) with a navy full-width intro and left-aligned blue steps:

> **A caller hearing that reassuring 15-minute promise at 2 a.m. does the following:** (navy, larger)
> 1. Instantly relaxes
> 2. **They put their phone down!** (bold-italic, RED underline — the only red on the page)

Revised away across v7–v14: the amber fill, "calms down instantly and... wait for it...", both parentheticals ("they got a call answered" / "exactly what you want"), and the trailing "Leaving their phone free..." line. In the room: physical beat — set your own phone face-down on his desk on the line. "You're not buying an answering service — you're buying the fifteen minutes where the family puts the phone down."

## Rob's emphasis + color discipline (extracted from 14 revision rounds)

- **Triple-emphasis (`<b><i><u>`)**: ONE phrase per page, reserved for witnessed-evidence quotes ("leave a message"). The payoff line uses bold-italic + RED underline — red underline is his punch marker.
- **Color roles after the orange-kill (v9)**: two-color page — client blue + navy. Client blue carries: Prepared-For kicker label, payoff-box border + steps, scoreboard box, every "Free", UNCLAIMED, header demo number. Navy carries: masthead, shop name in kicker, payoff intro, offer-block border. NO amber on the final ADAN flyer (Rob: "change all orange text color to the blue that is the check box blue").
- **"Free" is always accent-colored + value-anchored + title case**: "First Month Free ($497 value)", "Setup Free ($1,500 value)", "Script Fine Tuning Free", "End-Of-Month Review Free ($500 value)", "Answered-Or-Free Guarantee". Real disc bullets, two-column layout.
- **Offer bullets final copy**: Script Fine Tuning Free = "the Premium Line gets a review and fine tuning for cadence, tempo, demeanor, tone"; End-Of-Month Review Free = "review results, take in your feedback, and make any adjustments if needed". (The Capture Report bullet copy from earlier rounds was replaced by these.)
- **Never-Do bullets**: two-column, one line each ("Quote the premium or discuss any other financial topic" — tightened from the 3-topic list).
- **What-you-get section**: kicker "What you get after each call: the Intake Info. & call data"; body "In addition to the Intake Info., the text will include:" then the bold items ON THE NEXT LINE (his explicit move), · separated. The call-log "no lost sticky notes" line was DELETED (v13).
- **Beats list**: item 4 = "Texts you the Intake Info the moment the caller hangs up." ("handoff" → "Intake Info" everywhere).
- **His edit cadence**: precise bursts of 3–9 directives, one theme per message, and single-page fit must survive every round — he notices a spill immediately.

## The pour (executed 2026-08-08)

All six flyers poured from the ADAN master and delivered: `bail-flyers-brighton-PREMIUM-LINE-v2-bucketed.zip` on RRR Drive (id 1CyBUsL--qVkGD0tj4Ki7AFSxJ497iuMj). Per-shop brand assets: ADAN blue #2A94D4 (logo tight-cropped), 303/Katie hot pink #ED2789 (Colorado-outline logo — visible on white despite "white" filename), Lucky Lucero's gold #9A7B0A (darkened from #FED03D for print legibility), Mary Ellen's blue #2A4FA8 (text wordmark — site logo unusable), M&M navy #002859 (logo pulled past expired SSL cert), Rapid navy text wordmark (site suspended — pitch intel: "your website is down, worth checking today"). Deliverable naming gotcha: Rob hit Drive's zip-extraction prompt — offer individual PDFs alongside the zip when the recipient just wants to print.

## Build-side notes for client deployments (belongs in ghl-voice-agent-build when patchable)

1. **Junk-call notification filter:** handoff text fires ONLY when intake captured (name + callback present). No 3 a.m. telemarketer notifications; keeps guarantee count honest. Sell as: "it filters the noise — you only hear about real families."
2. **No IVR press-1 gate** in front of the agent for panic verticals (latency + friction at 2 a.m.; GHL has no native gate; chaining = failure hop). Junk filter is the defense; IVR chain is a per-client escalation only.
3. **Number attachment default: carrier conditional forwarding** (busy/no-answer → agent number). Never pitch porting (number = brand). One agent serves multiple forwarded lines. Warn one-device owners (personal cell = business line): forwarding is contact-blind — the AI will intake their mother. Setup in the room + live test call before leaving.
4. 15-minute callback is a script variable per client — in the room: "that's the demo setting; you tell me what it should be."

## Field-report discipline (locked after the pour, 2026-08-08 v3–v5)

- **A shop's own flyer leads with THEIR OWN result, named:** "303 Bail Bonds (your line) — 5:11 a.m., 8/8/2026: 3 min on hold, ukulele music, then a human." The whole play is "I called YOU."
- **Every other entry is anonymized** — "Another Brighton agency" / "A second Brighton agency." Never print a named competitor's failure on a flyer that sits in someone else's office (slander exposure + "what's he saying about me down the street?"). Names are VERBAL ammo only.
- **Anonymous entries carry a FOMO kicker** (Rob's explicit design): italic stinger — *"They're losing callers every night — and don't even know it."* / *"Their callers hung up and kept dialing."* Purpose: the reader should think "another agency could grab the Solo before me," not just "someone else is sloppy."
- **Intel loop:** Rob test-calls each target the MORNING OF that walk-in (never batch-test), sends outcomes, agent pours the shop's own result to the top of their field report (named) and rotates others down (anonymized). Cover script for the call: "my nephew got picked up... I need to call my sister first, can I call you right back?" — never give details.
- **Anonymous entries must carry NO identifying fingerprint.** "Another Brighton agency (559 reviews, 'Open 24 hours')" is NOT anonymous — anyone in town knows exactly who that is (Rob caught this). Strip review counts, slogans, addresses, and any unique detail from anonymized entries: just "Another Brighton agency — 5:03 a.m., 8/8/2026: 'We are closed. Leave a message.'" + the FOMO kicker. The identifying combo is the slander exposure, not the failure itself.
- **Re-interview your own evidence between walk-ins.** Rob re-read the 303 "bonded out of Huerfano county in less than an hour" review and caught that it's IMPOSSIBLE by car (Brighton→Walsenburg = 2.5–3 hrs) — the bond was e-filed. Two lessons: (1) any load-bearing anecdote gets the physics check before print (distance/time/feasibility), and (2) the e-file catch RETIRED the "she's 3 hours away when the phone rings" hook — falsifiable hooks die. The durable replacement hook for 303: "you're already PAYING for after-hours answering — and it put me on hold 3 minutes with ukulele music at 5 a.m." (the paid-coverage-that-fails frame is stronger than the geography frame, and it survives the eBONDS transition).
- **A 5 a.m. test call's result needs reinterpretation against the target's site.** 303's 3-min ukulele hold + human "Nicky" was first logged as "she answered." Rob's site crawl (Call Now + Text Now both → one cell) + the hold-music pattern = it's a PAID LIVE ANSWERING SERVICE, misconfigured. Before writing a field-report entry, check the target's site for single-device operation (same number on call + text buttons) — it changes what the evidence MEANS (and flipped Katie from "tiny solo operator" to "growth-stage agency, two offices [Brighton + Greenwood Village], attorney referral network — can afford $497").
- Deliverable history (newest = canonical): **v8-final.zip (id 1pJsIMDXm_QEicbi5WpULpo4VL7I5yRNR)** > v7-final > v6-final > v5-fomo > v4-anonymized > v3-bucketed-fieldreports > v2-bucketed > v1. Print from the newest only.

## Full-sweep research pass (v8, 2026-08-08) — profile corrections from site crawls

Rob's challenge: "how are we going to scrape them all to ensure this new data doesn't go uncovered?" — every shop got the full treatment, and it paid off on three of five:

- **303/Katie UPGRADED from solo-boutique to second-biggest book in town:** separate Greenwood Village listing at **4.8★/423 reviews** (Brighton listing 5.0/15 is the satellite). Two offices, two public numbers (720-730-3903 Brighton / 303-353-1253 homepage-GV — her website mixes them across pages), one cell, attorney referral network, notary + fugitive recovery. Guarantee bucket moved 10→**20**. Reviewers name her across BOTH listings ("Katie is wonderful!! ...coming out to help me get my son in 18" of wet heavy snow!!" — Wade Moxley Sr.). Lesson: ALWAYS search "[shop name] + [other metro cities]" for satellite GBP listings — the Brighton listing count was off by 28x.
- **Mary Ellen's = the POLLACK family** (Mary Ellen + Chris + Sherri Pollack), 40+ years, 8 counties, **recurring cast on A&E's Dog the Bounty Hunter** (real Colorado cases with Duane Chapman). Flyer salutation: "Mary Ellen, Sherri, and Chris —"; hook leads "a Pollack answering the phone." Rob name-drops the TV credit carefully, never as a gimmick.
- **M&M owner = Marcia Carden** (24+ yrs, team of agents) — was "the ladies, names unknown." Salutation: "Marcia and the team at M&M —."
- **Lucky Lucero's:** family-owned since 1982, BBB A+ (unaccredited) — dossier-only, no flyer change.
- **Rapid Release site suspension is chronic** (still down across repeated checks — pitch intel stays live).

## Parked

- Capture Report template (punch list item 16): one-page monthly email, HIS close rate not industry stats, junk-filtered count as a feature line, per-call ledger with transcript links, never skip a month. Open: email vs PDF; week-one "first catches" text; running-total vs month-end guarantee display.
- Almighty (Thornton) flyer regenerates with the Solo/Charter structure when Thornton walk happens.

## Monday-walk logistics (2026-08-09, end of session)

- **Tiered-town Solo model (Rob's expansion rule):** Solo (one agency) only for towns with ≤10 physical bond offices. 11–20 offices → "Two Agency Only" (e.g. Thornton if it qualifies), 21–30 → "Three Agency Only" (e.g. Westminster). **Verify the actual office count before walking a new town** — if Thornton has ≤10, it's a Solo town. NEVER print the tier formula or shop counts — the moment a bondsman knows there's a formula, he negotiates the formula. Each town gets offered its number as THE structure.
- **Rob's pre-walk ritual:** 5 a.m. test calls on ALL remaining targets ~11 hrs before the walk, logged in the Drive CSV "Bail Field Calls — 5am Test Log" (columns: Company, Number Dialed, Date, Time, Rings Before Answer, What Answered, Hold Music/Details, Who Answered, Time to Human, Exact Words). Agent re-pours each shop's own result to the TOP of their field report (named), rotates others down (anonymized), re-renders, re-uploads to the Drive print folder.
- **Drive print shelf:** folder "Bail Bonds — Premium Line Flyers" (id 1A14aywm11c92Oox6fjTLwtbK_2AykaoL) holds the 6 individual PDFs in walk order — the zip is archive-only. Study docs live alongside: dossier PDF + the call-log CSV.
- **Composio MCP pitfalls hit during delivery (the composio-mcp-ops skill is patch-blocked, so these live here):** (1) tool slugs drift — `GOOGLESHEETS_CREATE_GOOGLE_SHEET` 404s, live slug is `..._SHEET1`; read the `suggestions` array in the error. (2) Only `gmail` + `googledrive` toolkits are connected — googlesheets is NOT, so deliver spreadsheets as CSV on Drive (one-click convert) instead of forcing an OAuth round-trip mid-task. (3) Upload batches: 3 per MULTI_EXECUTE call is reliable; one result dropped in a 3-batch once — re-run stragglers singly. (4) Folder pattern: `GOOGLEDRIVE_CREATE_FOLDER` once, then `GOOGLEDRIVE_UPLOAD_FROM_URL` with `parent_id` = folder id per file.
