Please, I am begging you, do not make an
AI automation agency business. It is the
worst business that you can build.
Instead, you should build this oneperson
business that can easily make $40,000 a
month. This business is completely
online. You can do it from anywhere. And
everything that you need to understand
to run this business, I'm going to teach
you today. This whole video is going to
walk through everything step by step.
All the tools you need, how to get
customers, how to service them, how to
price it, everything. Hi, I'm Cody
Schneider. I have 10 plus years of
building online businesses. And today,
the business that you're going to learn
how to build is a med spa marketing
agency. And the reason that this is so
much better than an AI automation agency
is because it has recurring [snorts]
revenue rather than projectbased
revenue. And you could still use that AI
automation to automate all the
deliverables that you're providing to
your clients. So just overall, it's a
way better type of company to build. It
just has way better biology for
sustainability. So as we always do on
this channel, let's look at the data.
Let's actually anchor this idea in fact
of why it's a good company to build. So,
this is the search volume for med spa
marketing over time. And if you don't
know what a med spa is, don't worry. I'm
going to talk about that in a second.
But why I'm showing you this is because
it illustrates that there is a desire, a
need for this service. And this is going
to help you dodge the mistake that I see
so many founders make the first time
they're starting an online company. They
try to sell something that people don't
want to buy. So, let's leap from that
step and go straight to something that
people are looking for. are trying to
buy the service. So now let's talk about
what med spas are. Med spas are clinics
that provide medical grade aesthetic
treatments. So think Botox, dermfillers,
laser hair removal, chemical peels, etc.
And why this is a great business to
service with a marketing agency is the
customer lifetime value of one of these
people is extremely high. So if you
don't know what customer lifetime value
is, that's how much a customer is going
to be spending over the lifetime of them
going to that business. And as a
business owner, they understand this
customer lifetime value. And their goal
is to get leads at a cost that is
cheaper than their customer lifetime
value by a significant amount.
Typically, they're aiming for 10 to 20%.
And as you can see here, MedSpot clients
have a really high customer lifetime
value. $5,000 to $10,000. $6,000 is not
uncommon. People that get these
treatments, they often buy multiple
aesthetic augmentations or they repeat
purchase these augmentations. And so for
you, the game here is going to be
providing marketing services that helps
them get leads for their clinic and then
you're going to charge a service fee to
provide those leads for them. So, first
let's talk about the skills that you
need to actually be able to get these
leads for this clinic. Once we do that,
I'm going to talk about how do you
actually get in front of these clients
and then we're going to talk about
scaling it up. What do you need to do to
actually grow this into that $40,000 a
month business? So, the two skill sets
that you're going to need to be able to
do this is Facebook ads and also being
able to do Google Maps listing
optimizations. So, Facebook ads are
going to be the most effective for you
because it allows for you to target the
demographic that's most likely to make
these purchases. And don't worry, I'm
going to show you the targeting, the
exact targeting that you're going to
want to do. I'm going to also show you
how to make these ads that you're going
to put in front of potential clients.
And I'm also going to show you how to
make these ads that you're actually
going to run for your clients. And we're
going to use AI and automation to build
those ads out. And the Google Maps
listing optimization. The reason you're
doing this is if you search for Med Spa
in any location, the first thing that
comes up at the top of the page on
Google is this thing called the map
pack. There's one sponsored area and
then three listings that are shown
within that map pack. And so what you're
going to be doing is optimizing these
listings so that they show up higher,
which naturally will create more leads
for that company. And again, I'm going
to show you how to do this optimization
and also measure all of this so that you
can prove to your client you're actually
providing the value that you're saying
you are. So let's start with the
Facebook ads. All right. So here is a
simple demographic breakdown of Med Spa
clients. So demographics are just the
composition of the target customer
that's most likely to buy from this
clinic. And as you can see here, it's
majority females. They're ages 35 to 54
is the biggest set and they're going to
be a high income earning bracket. And so
what we're going to do is we're going to
take these demographics and we're going
to build that campaign out in Facebook
ads so that we're targeting those
individuals. So here's how to actually
do that targeting. I'm going to walk you
through it right now. So you're going to
go to Facebook Ads Manager and then
you're going to hit create. And to
begin, you're going to do a traffic
campaign. If you're more sophisticated,
you'll do a leads campaign. and I'll
talk to that more in a second, but the
targeting is the most important to
actually create these leads. So, we'll
select traffic. We're going to do a
manual traffic campaign and then I'm
going to go to the ad set level of the
campaign. So, within that ad set, what
I'm going to do now is build out that
demographics for the people that are
most likely to attend med spas. So, the
first thing I would do is define the
location of the med spa that I would be
targeting. I'm just going to use San
Francisco again. And then we're going to
define the gender. So, I'm going to say
women only. We're going to do ages under
55. and ages above 35. So, we're within
that age range. And then we're going to
turn this off people that will likely
respond to the ads. We just want it to
only target what we provided. And then
the last thing that we're going to do is
we're going to select household income
of 5% plus, household income of 10%
plus, and then just look at the size.
200,000. That's probably enough for what
we need. Depending on your geography,
you may need to adjust this. It just
depends. And at that point, you've got
the targeting set up. So, now let's move
on to the ads that we're actually going
to create. Okay. So, the next thing that
I'm doing is using Perplexity to do
research on the most common treatments
at Med Spas. You can ask your client if
there's a specific offer that they're
trying to sell more of, but this is an
easy way to understand what people are
searching for and what people are
interested in. So, I'm just going to
pick chemical peels as the one that
we're going to work on today. And then
I'm going to do the same thing. I'm
going to search on Perplexity. Why do
people get chemical peels? And
understand the key reasons that they go
and get this treatment. So, reducing
wrinkles, improving uneven skin tone,
and then of these five, I'm going to ask
perplexity rank stack the motivation
against each other. And what it just did
is it basically compared all these
against each other to understand the
different pain points that are the
highest motivation. So, we're going to
focus on this physical appearance. I
think the wrinkles, the lines, and skin
quality is a great one. So, now what I'm
going to do is use perplexity to write a
hook for a video script. So, the prompt
I'm going to use is write a video script
that is educational about chemical peels
for these pain points. And I'm going to
include those pain points there. And
then I'm going to say, use Reddit quotes
as an inspiration. And the reason I'm
doing this is it's going to go and find
conversations that people are having on
social media and find interesting quotes
for you that will make the ads more
human and just perform better overall.
And it's going to write out this really
large piece of information. We don't
want that. We want something concise,
something tight, something about 30
seconds long. So, what I asked it next
is to make this a 30- secondond script.
Use a short punchy hook, and it's
better, but it still is adding a little
bit of fluff. So, I'm going to say this
last prompt. Fingers crossed. Hopefully,
just return the script. Don't mention
Reddit. It should be a monologue script.
And then the last thing I'm going to do
is have it change the call to action to
be a free consultation at a med spa. And
this is pretty good. So, we've got the
script. Now, let's go and actually make
this into a video ad. So, to do this,
we're going to use this app called Hey
Jen. Let me log in and get into my
account. And in Hey GenE, we're going to
go to avatars and then we're going to go
to UGC. And what I would suggest doing
is using a bunch of different avatars to
test this ad. The same script, just
different avatars. And the reason for
that is we're just trying to find the
avatar that is most relatable to the
target audience that we're marketing to.
So, I'm just going to use this one,
Leia. And then I'm going to go to
scripts. I'm going to paste in that
script. And we're just going to listen
to her voice to see how it is. I really
like this one called Natasha Valley
Girl. It's going to work perfect for
this. So, I just applied that. I'm going
to check it now. And I just listened to
it, but it's a little bit slow. So, I'm
going to remove all of the punctuation.
That's going to speed it up. And also,
what I'm going to do is speed it up a
little bit as well. I found that a
little bit faster works better. So, I'm
going to do about 1.2x. And then,
finally, I'm going to create this UGC
avatar. I'm going to hit submit, and
it's going to start generating that
video. And everything that I showed you,
you can automate with a.com. This is why
this combination of AI automation and
also doing a service, a productized
service is really powerful is when you
combine these two things together, you
can make a really profitable business
that doesn't need a ton of staff. So
once that video is ready, you're going
to take that, you're going to put that
into Facebook ads. You're going to drive
traffic to a free consultation landing
page. You're going to have to work with
your client to build that for them. But
then what you're going to be measuring
is you're going to test a bunch of
different ads and see which ones get the
cheapest clicks. And then you're just
optimizing for the cheapest lead
possible for them. And then the
measurement of success that you have the
client look at you from is the leads
that you're providing them with the
budget that they provide. All right. So
that's Facebook ads. You now have your
head wrapped around that. Next, let's
move on to getting leads from Google
Maps. So to optimize a Google Maps
listing, you're going to get your client
to share that Google Maps listing with
you. And then there's a couple things
you need to do. You need to work on
getting them reviews. You need to work
on having photos in the listing. and you
need to work on having keywords in the
listing that they're trying to show up
for. Those are kind of the most basic
things that you can do. And then the
next thing that you need to do is go and
create what are called directory
listings. So directory listings are
listings on other directory websites,
sites like Foursquare, and you take the
exact information that you have in the
Google Maps listing, and you put those
on all of these different listings. And
this is how the SEO of the map pack
works. It's basically the directory
listings that are matching that map pack
listing is what Google uses as a
measurement of is this a trustworthy
business. If you're hardcore SEO,
there's a lot more nuance to that, but
in the highest form, that is what works.
And when you combine all these things
together, what's going to happen is
you're going to rise within the rankings
of the Google map pack, which is going
to create more traffic to the website.
It's going to create more calls to the
company, and you can measure those leads
and quantify the value that you're
providing there. And honestly, one of
the easiest ways to build out all of
these directory listings is just using
this company called Local Rank. I know
the founder, Jackie. It's a great
company. They submit you to like a
thousand plus directories in a single
click. It's super easy to do and it's
going to make immediate impact for the
company that you're working with. All
right, and that's it. That is the basics
on how you're going to market these med
spas. And if you just focus on those two
things, you're going to create leads.
It's guaranteed. But now, how do you get
clients? This is one of the hardest
things for people to do. So, the best
way to do this is going and finding all
of the low ranking med spas in a
geography. And then you're going to
reach out to them via cold email and
say, "Hey, I can make you rank higher. I
can get you more leads through
Facebook." So, I'm going to show you how
to get those emails. You can use this
free tool called Hunter.io. You go to
Hunter. You paste in the website. And
you're going to have to do a bunch of
these to find this, but you're going to
find an email that's associated with
that company. You're going to reach out
to that email. And to do that cold
email, you're going to use a software
called Instantly. It allows you to send
cold email at scale. And the email that
you're going to send is something super
simple. Be straight to the point. Free
Google Maps audit for X business name.
Hey name, saw you're not ranking on
Google Maps for Med Spa SF. I can make
you rank higher. Interested in learning
more. And you're just going to send
hundreds of these emails. That's how
you're going to get these clients.
That's how you're going to get the
initial. The other strategy is build
these ads out for them. And then go to
Instagram and DM them ad examples. be
like, "Hey, I make and run Facebook ads
for med spas. I made these ads for you.
Are you interested in learning more
about my services?" And then again, go
and send 100 DMs a day. It's just a
numbers game. That's all this turns
into. And that's the skill sets you need
and a way for you to sell these services
to a company. But the last thing you
need to learn is how to price this and
how to scale this. So, how to price
this? You're going to want to make it a
flat cost. It's probably going to be
around 2,000 a month is what I'm
guessing just based off of experience.
And so if you want to make that $40,000
a month, we're going to take that
40,000, divide it by 2,000, and that
means you need 20 clients. And to get 20
clients, in my experience, that means
you need to contact about 2,000 people.
And about 1% of those are going to turn
into customers. But again, I just showed
you the whole process to do this. It's
not expensive to get started. It just
takes time. But everything that I showed
you today, you can automate. It can be
entirely automated. But you're still at
some point going to need employees. is
just going to get to that level,
especially if you want to get past that
40 grand a month. You can make this as
big as you want. You can make it make 2
million a year if you really wanted. And
when you get to that scale, the best way
to hire offshore talent for your
business is to go to talentfiber.com.
